Cigar Aficionado Magazine July/August 2024 Issue
“Josh Brolin hasn’t had the typical career arc of a top-tier Hollywood actor. After his breakout role as a young man in the classic 80s movie The Goonies, Brolin would eventually take a long hiatus from the profession before returning and establishing himself as a prolific actor. Brolin sat down with Cigar Aficionado at his home in Malibu to discuss his many roles, his love of fine cigars and much more. This issue also covers the new TGL Golf league coming in January, Xander Schauffele’s relieving PGA Championship victory, strategies to winning the lottery and the bonded whiskey market. We also visit an astonishing cigar house in Texas, talk with the fifth-generation heir to Central America’s largest producer of cigar tobacco Nestor Andrés Plasencia and discover the favorite cigar of the rum executive Facundo Bacardi. Plus, we have more than 70 expert cigar reviews and vintage smokes from our Connoisseur’s Corner series, including a rare, Cuban Davidoff from 1988.”
