Cigar Aficionado Magazine May/Jun 2023 Issue

The May/June 2023 edition of Cigar Aficionado.

The Movie Issue • May/June 2023

“Nothing beats a great movie. Kicking back and watching a film, preferably with some popcorn or even a cigar, is a pastime that spans generations and cultures. And the movies that are our personal favorites hold reserved spots near and dear to our heart. Cigar Aficionado decided to honor this beloved art form by dedicating an entire issue to films, covering movies from all angles. Firstly, Cigar Aficionado editor and publisher Marvin R. Shanken reveals his top 10 films of all time. Then we take a look at the favorites of a wide range of celebrities, many of which have graced the cover of this magazine. We also bring in longtime film critic Marshall Fine to discuss the dynamic of ranking the best films and had him profile legendary director John Landis. Plus, we share a targeted poll that asks readers to join in the fun and name their favorite movies. Plus, we recap Marvin R. Shanken’s surprise appearance at Big Smoke Meets WhiskyFest, dive deep into the rising prices of Cuban cigars, find out Alex Rodriguez’s smoke of choice and review a 30-year-old Cuban, among other vintage smokes. We also offer up 72 new, expert cigar ratings”
