Les Fines Lames Compass Nicaragua Acacia Burl pairs a richly figured acacia burl wood handle with a Nicaragua inspired compass design. Part of the Compass Series, this folding cigar cutter combines distinctive wood grain with a compact, practical format.

Its 14C28N stainless steel blade provides clean, precise straight cuts through a built in 23 mm aperture. The opening can cut a 58 ring gauge cigar in half and accommodate cigar caps up to 70 ring gauge, depending on the depth of the cap cut.

The 65 mm blade folds into the handle for convenient storage in a pocket or cigar case. Measuring 115 mm closed and 157 mm open, the cutter weighs 60 g for easy carrying without unnecessary bulk.

Made in France and backed by a lifetime warranty, this model brings together the Nicaragua Compass Series design and the character of acacia burl wood. The Les Fines Lames Compass Nicaragua Acacia Burl folding construction keeps the blade contained between uses.

Leo B. ★★★★★ Oct 27, 2026

The compass etching on the blade is crisp and perfectly centered, making lining up cuts feel precise. Folds away securely into the acacia burl handle, which has a nice weight in the hand.

Elizabeth J. ★★★★★ Oct 26, 2026

The acacia burl handle feels dense and warm in the hand, and the compass motif on the blade gives it a classy, old-world vibe. Cuts through a thick cigar wrapper cleanly with zero crush, and the fold-away design makes it pocket-friendly.

That compass engraving on the blade is so crisp and clean, it really makes this cutter feel special. The acacia burl handle feels incredibly smooth and well-balanced in my hand, too.
